The device (39) has a bonding arrangement (1) magnetically locking a ferrous magnetic contact element (5) assigned for a flexible material piece (2) i.e. textile, of an electrically conductive functional structure (3) and a ferrous magnetic contact element (6) of a controller (4) that operates the functional structure to produce a predetermined contact between the functional structure and the controller. The arrangement magnetically releases the contact between the contact elements when necessary. The latter contact element is designed as a solenoid body.
