The motor has a fluid-dynamic bearing system and coating components whose surface has certain roughness and totally or partially provided with wear-resistant- or wear-reducing coating materials (44, 46, 48, 50, 52). The coating materials comprise a polyimide- or non-adhesive agent. The components comprise a shaft (12) of a fluid-dynamic bearing system, where the shaft is coated with the coating materials. The components enclose a bearing face of fluid-dynamic radial bearings (20, 22) or fluid-dynamic thrust bearings (28, 30), which are coated with the coating materials. The coating components comprise a push plate (14), a hub (26), a rotor magnet (36) and return ring (38). An independent claim is also included for a method for coating a component of a spindle motor.
