The supercharger has a housing including a turbine. A guiding unit (10) includes a supporting element (14) and a covering element that are spaced from each other in an axial direction under the formation of a flow channel between the supporting-and covering elements. Guide vanes of the guiding unit are movably mounted at the supporting element, and exhaust gas flowing through the channel is deviated by the guiding unit. The supporting element is fastened at the bearing housing by an attachment element i.e. bolt (24), that is partially held in the housing.
