The system (1) has an anode circuit (10) for returning exhaust gas from an anode region (4) with a pulsation device (14). The pulsation device comprises a movable element, which narrows a flow throughable cross-section for flow of gas. The movable element is automatically moved by variable force caused over flow and a reaction force. The moving element is designed as a flap. The pulsation device comprises an exhaust nozzle and a detour element as the movable element. A retainer i.e. electromagnet, is utilized for fixing the movable element.
