The temperature control system has two intermediate storages (ZS1,ZS2), valves, pumps (P1,P2) in heat pump circuit and in discharge circuit, a controller and a rest system which is supplied with tempered heat transfer fluid. The two intermediate storages are connected selectively with the heat pump or with the rest system by the valve. The heat pump or the refrigerating machine brings the heat transfer medium into the former intermediate storage at a desired temperature level in a cycle, while the latter intermediate storage releases heated or cooled heat transfer medium to the rest system. The heat pump or cooling machine directly releases the tempered water into the rest system in another cycle. The heat transfer medium brings the latter intermediate storage at a desired temperature level in a third cycle.
