The method involves guiding the threads (13) of a yarn sheet after melt spinning by a driven godet (18) with an operating speed. The threads are alternatively winded to spools at two separate driven spool spindles (3.1,3.2) with a spooling speed. The spool spindles are guided into an operating position from a waiting position by a rotatable spool revolver (2) for transferring the threads while changing the spools (12). The godet is driven for change of yarn tensions into the thread with an exchange speed during the position change. An independent claim is provided for an apparatus for continuous pulling and spooling of multiple threads as a yarn sheet in a melt spinning process.
