The bus (10) has a heating device (24) comprising an electrical heating element (30) i.e. electric heater, for heating a passenger compartment. A power supply device is inductively coupled with an external power supply (34) through an inductive coupling element (36), for supplying electric power to operate the heating element. The heating device comprises a heat exchange element (26) through which air to be supplied to the compartment flows such that the air is heated by transferred from liquid flowing through the heat exchange element, where the liquid is heated by the heating element.
