The releasable plug connection (1) has a sleeve-shaped securing element (8) to which a connecting element (5) is slidably engaged. The connection element enables axial sliding movement of the securing element between release position with respect to opening movement of retaining edges (6,7), and backup position. The connector element is projected over the securing element during intermediate position of the securing element for retaining projection (3) that is bent upwards at an insertion unit (2) in the retaining edges.
