The rope winch (1) has housing (2). A portion of periphery traction sheave (4) is wrapped by cable (3). The pressure rollers (8,9) are located at the ends of the traction sheave. The pivoted levers (13,14) are supported and pivotally connected to a respective end of the housing by coupling elements (21). The pressure rollers are arranged away from the pivot axis (17). The ends of the pivoted levers and the two pressure rollers are loaded by pressing elements (26) along the direction of the traction sheave.
