The element (1) has two channels (2, 10) for guiding an elongated flexible material. A fixing unit i.e. bracket element, fixes the elongated flexible material in one of the channels relative to a movement of the flexible material in a longitudinal direction (L). The channel comprises a region (5), where an extension of the channel is enlarged in the region in a transverse direction. The channel comprises a u-shaped cross-section, and an axle is swingably connected with a wall (8) of the channel. The other channel comprises two contact surfaces for contacting the flexible material.
