Navigational method for building, involves determining current position along traveled path by alignment with possible ways by start position with respect to determined changes in direction and/or velocity
The method involves determining the current position along a traveled path at a defined start position. The respective environment is digitally recorded during the travel along the path by using a carried camera (14) as video. The video data is created using motion vectors. The changes in direction and velocity are sequentially determined during the travel by using the motion vectors. The current position along the traveled path is determined by alignment with the possible ways by the start position with respect to the determined changes in direction and/or velocity. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) navigation system; and (2) navigation module of navigation system.
