The housing (1) has a support frame (2) in which a contact element connected with a conductor of a cable, is arranged. Outwardly pointed surfaces of the support frame are completely covered by a plastic sheath (3) in an inserted state of a plug connector. Inwardly pointed surfaces of the support frame are covered by the plastic sheath. The support frame electromagnetically shields the contact element attached to the conductor relative to an outside world. The plastic sheath covering the support frame contains polyurethane compound. The frame is formed by a die-cast zinc process. The frame is formed from a metal sheet bending part.
