The profile (10) has a first profile chamber (40) directly adjacent to a first outer wall (2), where a longitudinal side of the profile chamber is extended over half of the length of the outer wall. A second profile chamber (50) is arranged directly adjacent to the first profile chamber and extended completely between second and third outer walls (3, 4). The cross-section area of the second profile chamber amounts to about 40 % of the sum of the cross-section areas of the first and second profile chambers and a third profile chamber (30) of the profile. The first and second profile chambers are connected together in a force-fit manner by a belt- or angular piece material made of metal such as stainless steel, plastic such as fiber reinforced plastic, composite material, or metal plastic composite material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a window or door frame.
