The electric motor (1) has a rotor (3) and a stator (2). The stator has a stator portion (4) having several stator poles made of metal, and slot insulations (6a,6b) for insulating the stator poles, arranged at the phase winding (5). A contact pin (10) is arranged in slot insulations, for contacting the phase winding. The contact pin is arranged on front side of the stator opposite the stator portion. An insulating web (15) between stator and contact pin, is formed within the slot insulations, and inlet holes (11) are provided in slot insulations in which the contact pin is pressed. An independent claim is included for method for pressing contact pin in inlet holes.
