The method involves recognizing an end region (42) closure to variation by a variation device (40), and reducing luminosity of supplementary light sources (30) as a function of approaching the end region. The light intensity of the supplementary light sources is reduced when the end region reaches zero percent or zero percent of maximum light intensity of the supplementary light sources. The reduction of luminance of the auxiliary light source is carried out continuously or exponentially. An independent claim is also included for a light module.
