Actuatable arrow keys enable exchange of the selection elements displayed in the selection region. Information and/or adjusting possibilities for operating a plastic processing machine associated to the selection elements are displayed on the touchscreen in an operating and/or information field (54) in a display region (52) during activation of the displayed elements. The available selection elements are quadratic fields.
