The identification element (10) has a holding element (11) e.g. nail-shaped holding element, mounted at a carcass part (90). A retaining element (12) securely connects the holding element to the carcass part. An information element (13) detects identification data e.g. environment data, for identification of the carcass part in a contactless manner, where the data is stored in a memory (13.1) e.g. EPROM, of the information element. The information element is detachably connected with the holding element and/or the retaining element. The information element is designed as active-, passive- or semi-passive electronic component, or a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for electronic identification of a carcass part (2) a method for electronic identification of a carcass part.
