The fluid power plant has multiple profile bodies (2) driven by fluid flow guided in a circulating manner. The profile bodies are immersed in the flow during a drive phase, and are movable to return out of the flow. The movement path of the profiled body is arranged approximately transverse to the main flow direction. The profile bodies are mounted on a revolving conveying element (4) which is arranged approximately transverse to the main flow direction. The conveying element has deflections, through which the conveying element is operatively connected with a power generator.
