The appliance (1) has an oscillation-producing component (3) partially arranged in or at a housing (2) and rotationally fixed relative to the housing. An anti-vibration bearing (4) is supported relative to the housing with the component. The bearing is partially or completely and contactlessly formed by magnetic repulsion. The bearing comprises permanent magnets (6) that are aligned with each other in pairs, and an electromagnet for creation of magnetic repulsive force. The component is designed as a grinding mill for grinding coffee beans or a support surface for retaining a drinking vessel.
