The unit has high voltage terminals, where an electrical voltage is applied between the terminals in an operating mode which terminal poles are electrically separated from each other. A protective cover (250) is movably attached at a base structure (105). A region (110) of the structure is protected against manual operator intervention, and another region (120) of the structure is accessible for the intervention in a position of the cover. The former region is accessible for the intervention, and the latter region is protected against the intervention in another position of the cover. The protective cover is a displaceable door. The base structure is a support frame. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical energy-storage system (2) an electromobile motor vehicle.
