The system (1) has two lifting elements (2) linkable with a vehicle and movable between two states. The lifting elements are co-acted with axles of the vehicle. A connector (3) connects the lifting elements over a joint (4) and is co-actively formed with the axles such that the axles are lifted in one of the states and lowered in the other state. Limiting elements (5) i.e. stopper, limit a travel path of the joint in the movement between the states. The limiting elements are formed as a draft- and/or pressure-stable element such as bar or lever. Control arms (6) attach wheels to the axles.
