The self-supporting tank (1) has a chassis which is mounted with the load transfer elements (9) and a towing device, in particular a drawbar (3) mounted directly on the load transfer elements of the tank. The load transfer elements are connected together only through the tank, so that the tank accepts the supporting function of the vehicle. The tank comprises additional connecting elements (5,6) for other assemblies such as trailing hose or precipitator. The load transfer elements are made of metallic material. The carbon fibers are applied to the mechanical regions of the tank. An independent claim is included for a preparation method of self-supporting tank.
