The transmission (1a) has spur gear stages (RR, R2-R7) linked with two jackshafts (VW1, VW2). A low forward gear, a high forward gear and low reverse gears are provided as winding gears. Jackshaft-side gear wheels (Z3-Z6) are arranged on a sleeve shaft (HW). The sleeve shaft is connected with one of the jackshafts over a coupling shift element (SK). One of the stages forms axial gear box-inner spur gear stage of odd gears. An idle gear (Z15) of the stage is arranged on an input shaft and connected with another input shaft over a gear shift element (S5').
