The turbine (11) has a power carrier (40) such as a generator, a mechanical transmission or a magnetic gear box provided with a rotor (42). The vaporized working medium is supplied to an impeller (22) through a supply channel (28). The rotor of the power carrier is coupled with the impeller to form a coupled arrangement. The coupled arrangement of rotor and impeller is provided with a gas bearing (20) for the axial or radial mounting of the coupled arrangement. The vaporized working medium is fed from the supply channel to the gas bearing.
