The imaging device has a digital image sensor (1) provided with number of recording pixels (3) on image recording surface. A control device is located to control recording pixels. A moving unit is provided to move imaging device relative to image sensor. The control device is located to activate recording pixels for image pick-up depending on the instantaneous position of the image sensor.
