The electrical machine (100) has a play drive train mounted with an axial play in the electrical machine. A force device is provided for generating force field to partially surround powertrain so that force acts upon powertrain. The force unit is arranged such that the shaft (17,24) of powertrain experiences force in axial direction (A). The force device is provided with reaction force unit. An independent claim is included for method for calming of backlash-afflicted powertrain of electric machine.
