The device (1) has a receiving chamber for receiving a syringe barrel (21), and restraining units (41, 42) for fixation of parts (31, 32) of a connection piece (3) at a syringe (2). The restraining units are partially adapted to an outer contour of the connection piece and arranged on swingable parts (11, 12) of the device that is formed as an injection molded part and made of metal i.e. stainless steel. The receiving chamber comprises a transparent viewing window. The device is integrally formed with a luer-lock cone. A latch unit locks the swingable parts with one another.
