The mattress (1) has a cavity (2) filled with air and limited by a seat- and couch surface (15), a bottom surface (16) and a circumferential side surface (7), which connects the seat- and couch surface and the bottom surface. An insertion compartment (6) projecting into the cavity is arranged at the side surface and provided with an insertion opening (5) that is accessible at the side surface. A spacing is provided between a top surface of the insertion compartment and the couch surface and selected to avoid a contact between the top surface and the couch surface during utilizing the mattress. The mattress has a slide fastener for fastening a closure element (8) in a closure position.
