The method involves performing searching (S101) based on separation characters in a first text document that contains correct output data of a target software to be tested. Positions of all markings and its attribute values according to the characters are determined. Test examples of an application are injected (S102) at the positions of the attribute values in the document to produce a second text document for test purposes. The second document is input (S103) into the software. Reaction and/or status of the software are monitored (S104) to determine whether abnormal phenomena arise or not. The text documents are hypertext markup language (HTML) documents, XML documents and/or ini-documents. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for implementing Fuzz testing (2) a system for implementing Fuzz testing (3) a machine-readable medium comprising instructions to perform a method for implementing Fuzz testing (4) a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for implementing Fuzz testing.
