The module (1) has a blue LED (6) and a red or orange LED (5) mounted on a circuit board (3). A common ball head is provided with a main peak emission in the range of 530 nanometer (nm) to 550 nm, where the LED module provides a continuous emission spectrum between 380 nm and 780 nm. The maximum intensity of the emission spectrum of the LED module is in a range of 610-670 nm, where a half-value width of the peak emission of the ball head is 80-120 nm and the half-value width of the maximum peak intensity of the emission spectrum of the LED module is 14-20 nm, preferably 16-18 nm. An independent claim is also included for an LED light engine arrangement.
