The sleeve (1) has a hose-like casing (2) and a fabric layer (3) shrinking under thermal effect. The fabric layer is arranged at an inner circumference surface (4) and/or an external periphery surface of the casing to increase mechanical stability of the sleeve. A supplementary fabric layer is arranged at the external periphery surface of the casing to increase the mechanical stability of the sleeve. A sealing layer i.e. fusion sticking element, is attached on an inner circumference surface of the fabric layer for sealing the sleeve against an electrical component (5).
