The electrical device has a elastomer ring (4) that is arranged at an end (11) of an electrical component such as a cable (1) between an outer surface (14) of the electrical component and an inner surface of a heat shrink sleeve (6) which is made of thermoplastic resin material. The radial resilient bias is provided in the elastomer ring which is pressed by the contraction process of the heat shrink sleeve.
