The tube (50) has a cathode (60) for emitting electrons, and a bearing arrangement (58) comprising a rotatable shaft that is provided with a rotor hub (102). An anode or target arrangement (56) is attached at the rotatable shaft and positioned for receiving the emitted electrons to generate X-rays (14). A rotor (62) is attached at an attachment surface of the hub over a screw connection, where the attachment surface comprises a material that is compressed against another material. A wear-resistant coating is attached to the two materials and positioned between the two materials. The rotatable shaft is designed as a rotatable shaft of an inner rotary bearing or a rotatable shaft of an outer rotary bearing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an anode assembly for an X-ray tube (2) an X-ray imaging system.
