The arrangement (10) has an imaging device (14) i.e. image recorder, including two data outputs (32, 34) with respective digital output signals (36, 38). A signal converter (40) i.e. multiplexer, is arranged between the imaging device and a data transfer element (20) i.e. twisted-pair line. The converter is designed such that the signals are combined to a digital combined output signal (42). Another signal converter (46) i.e. demultiplexer, is connected at a proximal end (24) of the transfer element, and divides the combined output signal into other two digital output signals (36', 38').
