The friction clutch (1) has cup-spring-like actuator (4) with plate spring portion (11) and support portion (8) for rotationally fixed mounting of actuating device on counter-pressure plate. The plate spring portion in transition zone (10) is made to merge into supporting portion. The transition zone has bearing region (23) in which the plate spring portion is brought with actuator during engagement and disengagement of clutch with support portion. The leaf spring portion (16) connected to pressure plate (2) is provided with first reinforcement bead (17). An independent claim is included for motor vehicle.
