The method involves adjusting a rotational speed of a drive train in an integrated starter/generator to a desired speed so as to attain desired transmission clutch oil line pressure in response to a request for stopping the engine rotation. A driveline clutch of a drive train is arranged between the combustion engine (10) and the integrated starter/generator to stop the engine in a desired position. An independent claim is included for hybrid vehicle system.
