The invention relates to an architectural textile for realising a construction member capable of receiving equipment parts but still easy to manipulate, store and transport. The architectural textile of the invention includes a woven bottom and is characterised in that it comprises housing means (3, 30, 300, 6, 60) for receiving equipment parts of the construction member, said housing means (3, 30, 300, 6, 60) being woven with the woven bottom (2, 20, 200, 5, 50) of said architectural textile (1, 10, 100, 4, 40). The invention also relates to a method for making a construction member from said architectural textile, that comprises: transporting said architectural textile (1, 10, 100, 4, 40) free from any equipment part onto the production site of the construction member; after the transport, placing the appropriate equipment parts optionally removably into the housing means (3, 30, 300, 6, 60); and mounting the architectural textile (1, 10, 100, 4, 40) with the equipment parts for realising a construction member.
