The equipment has a display system for stereoscopic display of a virtual scene (5) on a screen (3) for enabling a virtual object to appear in three dimensions to an operator (7) wearing stereoscopic vision glasses (9). A light emitting device covers whole or part of a real object or an individual intended to be integrated into the virtual scene for display of images related to the virtual scene, where the light emitting device is selected from one of an LED, an organic LED (OLED), and a phosphorescent OLED (PHOLED), and a polymer LED (PLED).
