The device (14) has a stack of disks, and an actuator that comprises a piston placed in a hydraulic chamber to receive hydraulic fluid. The piston clamps the disks under the action of a set pressure (Pcons) prevailing in the hydraulic chamber. A calculation module (15a) calculates dynamic pressure (Pdyn1) from centrifugal force exerted on hydraulic fluid according to the number of revolutions (Wemb1) of a hydraulically-operated clutch and clutch data techniques (T1), and calculates a correction mean (17) of the set pressure according to the dynamic pressure.
