Preparing an agarose gel, comprises preparing a mixture of concentrated-agarose and buffer liquid, heating the mixture, by injection of steam buffer, to dissolve the agarose grains in the buffer, injecting the obtained solution in the liquid cold buffer to adjust the concentration, and cooling the solution to 50-60[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a device for preparing the agarose gel comprising a bottle containing mixture of agarose, a reservoir (2) of the filling liquid, and injection steam buffer and liquid buffer in the mixture contained in the bottle.
