Material having a macroscopic structure of lamellar and non-centro-symmetric type, consisting essentially of a mixture of at least two block copolymers or co-oligomers, each consisting of a chain of at least two polymer or oligomeric blocks, characterized in that that each molecule of said copolymers or co-oligomers is bonded to each adjacent molecule in all directions of the material by interactions involving at least two mutually immiscible blocks belonging to its chain and two blocks compatible one by one with the first said blocks and incompatible with each other along the chain of each said adjacent molecule.
