The car has a rear bench seat whose backrest is removable or foldable from an upright and locked position. A rear shelf (13) extends between an upper part of the backrest and a rear window. A bulkhead (14) is mounted pivotally between first and second positions in which the bulkhead is located behind the backrest and folded below the shelf, respectively. The bulkhead has supports (17) formed by steel blades fixed to a metal sheet plate, and a metal obstacle forming unit (19) to prevent the backrest from returning to the upright and locked position when the bulkhead is in the second position.
