The device has a measuring circuit (M1) associated with each of output contacts (B1alpha, B2alpha) of mushroom shaped control buttons (B1, B2) e.g. push button, of a control chain, where the circuit includes a voltage threshold measurement relay for measuring voltage or current at terminals of the output contact. The circuit compares the measurement with a predetermined threshold (th1) and provides corresponding information on an output contact (O1) of the relay to a warning system. The measuring circuit includes a resistor connected parallel to the relay.
