The device has concentric tubular drills (1) whose walls are interconnected by blades (2a, 2b, 6c) to form a disk-shaped honeycomb structure. The structure includes connecting regions provided with sliding connectors (4, 10) that are designed so that a user can expand or reduce the diameter of the connecting regions by a pull or a push on a center portion of the disk-shaped honeycomb structure, so as to adjust the diameter of a slice of fruit or root-vegetable sliced by the blades. The blades simultaneously peel the skin of the slice before sorting.
