The device (1) has front and rear panels (4, 5) with internal edges (7, 8) whose side ends are provided with recesses (9), and side supports (12) comprising tabs (13) protruding upwards and extending from a base to define front and rear projections (14, 15). The tab and recesses are arranged to allow the projections to be engaged in the recesses, such that the edges are blocked in longitudinal and vertical translation in a covering configuration. The arrangement allows one of the panels to be rotated around a hinge (6) to pass from the configuration to an access configuration via rear/front.
