The device (D) has a base (SM), and an opening (O1) that is intended to be placed before a connector (C1). An access control unit (MC) is placed in one of two positions in which the control unit prevents and permits access to the connector through the opening. Another opening (O2) is coupled to the base for coupling the base to ground and to place the access control unit in one position for interconnecting another connector to the former connector through the former opening and the latter opening. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
