The device (1) has a rod including diametrically opposite blocking notches and a spring (11) mounted between drawers (5, 9) to exert effort of connection for two edges between the drawers. A maintenance unit (12) maintains one of the edges in a position remote from the other edge. The maintenance unit is arranged to interact with the rod during its introduction into a receiving sheath and to deactivate the interaction between the maintenance unit and the rod so as to release connection of the latter edge toward the former edge under an action of the spring.
