Oil-in-water emulsion comprises, in a medium, (a) a continuous aqueous phase, (b) a discontinuous oil phase, (c) a photoprotective system, (d) at least one lipophilic ethylene polymer comprising (i) ethylene polymers having at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-derived unit and/or (ii) an ethylene copolymer sequence containing at least one first sequence and at least one second sequence, (e) silica particles, and (f) nonionic surfactant mixture comprising at least one fatty acid and polyol ester and at least one polyalkylene glycol ester. Oil-in-water emulsion comprises, in a medium, (a) a continuous aqueous phase, (b) a discontinuous oil phase, (c) a photoprotective system able to filter UV radiation, (d) at least one lipophilic ethylene polymer comprising (i) ethylene polymers having at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-derived unit and/or (ii) an ethylene copolymer sequence containing at least one first sequence having a glass transition temperature of = 40[deg] C, where the first sequence is totally or partially derived from one or more first monomers, the ethylene polymers are homopolymers prepared from these monomers having a glass transition temperature of = 40[deg] C, and at least one second sequence having a glass transition temperature of = 20[deg] C and totally or partially derived from one or more second monomers, where the first and second sequences are bonded together by an intermediate statistical segment comprising the first monomers that constitute the first sequence and the second monomers that constitute the second sequence, and the copolymer sequence has a polydispersity index of greater than 2, (e) silica particles, and (f) nonionic surfactant mixture comprising at least one fatty acid and polyol ester and at least one polyalkylene glycol ester.
