The device (D) has a support unit (MS) that is located in a cutting station (PD), where the support unit is arranged to receive and support a punched element (ED). A driving unit (ME) is arranged for moving the support unit between a receiving position in which a cut element is received, and a processing position in which the cut element is processed. The driving unit moves the support unit between the receiving position and the processing position by utilizing a stamping tool that receives the punched element. An independent claim is also included for an installation for manufacturing of parts.
