The present invention relates to a method of hands-free access to a motor vehicle (V) associated with a tire pressure monitoring method. More particularly wheel units (20, 21, 22, 23) belonging to the tire pressure recognition system detect the stop of low frequency emissions LF caused by the recognition of a badge B matched to the vehicle, to trigger the measurement by the wheel units of the values of the pressure and the temperature prevailing in each tire of the vehicle.
